Thistle Hotel, JB

Spent Good Friday with my Dear at Thistle Hotel...
What a great hotel of 4.5* rating..
I really wonder where the 0.5* went to?
Perhaps the sub- standard carpark?

Ok, a brief history of Thistle Hotel in JB,
It used to be Hyatt Hotel..
Recently undergone a major cosmetic surgery to make it look,
well, brand new!

This hotel has the largest King Size bed ever,
it is literally 2 super single bed put together.
To top this off, a hotel will have to put two queen size
or two king size bed together to form a single bed.. Haa...
Did i mentioned that it has the best bed ever?
Yes, i am so tempted to know the brand of the mattress they used,
Really good stuff...

The superior room we stayed in is also very big in size.
DDear was saying we can play hide and seek inside the room.
To me, it was the superior view facing the sea that got my attention.
It's really nice to have a cup of English breakfast tea, sitting on the comfy chair,
under the strong aircon, overlooking the beautiful scenic sea outside the large
full length window.. Arrggh.. Life...

There are also multiple restaurants, and one particular restaurant called the HIVE
is highly recommended. Not only do they serve good food, the restaurant has a really nice theme. With Nice deco and live band, and fantastic food at a reasonable price, we spent 3 hrs in the restaurant.. Listening to music, playing darts, enjoying the good food, and the desert is a must TRY! 7 scope of ICE cream with 2 gigantic Cookies!! We have to da bao the cookie back.. Sinful dinner, but really enjoyable.

So many more to say bout the short getaway..
