I was at Mandai Executive Golf Course this morning for my golf lesson.
It was my first time in a golf course.
My first 9 holes game.
What can i say, i was overwhelmed by excitment.
After practicing for months, finally my skills are put to the test
in the actual field.. Battlefield that is.. haha
Well i learnt something too. Hitting the ball in the driving range is
a piece of cake. The floor is even, the grass patch consistant and condition
is predictable. But out in the green, life is not so common...
For one, the grass patch is uneven, and there are many slopes.
It's hard to hit the ball when you are slanting on a slope.
There are also many trees too. I remembered hitting the ball to the trees several times.
Worst, i missed one of my shot and hit a tree with my golf club too.. haha..
That is classic..
Many of my shots were out of bound, dropping into the river, or drain, or dissapear into uncharted territory. So i pretend nothing happen, and place a new ball. haa.
But it's not all bad. I hit a couple of shots on par. Not bad for a beginner.
And what can i say, Golf is fun!!
